Course Clearing
On Hole #5, we want to clear about 20’ – 30’ of rough on each side. We want to clear top the water’s edge. We would want about a 40’ to 50’ wide clearing to start. Once we get about 15’ from the basket, we could leave some smaller trees and individual bushes. Hole # 5 green (where the basket will be) needs cleaned out with a weed eater. Clean it all the way out to the lake. But only in the area where the basket is needs to be cleaned at this time as the front portion of the hole next to the dog park on the right is just fine. Yes it is gnarly but we need that area to be overgrown for a buffer zone between the fairway and the dog park.
On Hole #6, pick up all the downed trees and brush and pile it up on the sides. That would be very helpful. We still need to do a little more clearing on # 6, but the majority is done.
Holes # 7 and # 8 don't really need too much work. On # 7 all that really needs to be done is some lopping of branches and movement of picnic tables.
# 9 needs to get cleaned out.
